The Piczel 7006 system includes a 4 Channel multiplexed DVR with *250GB HDD, two Color 3-Axis Dome Cameras, two Color IR Weatherproof Cameras, two Simulated Dome Cameras, window warning decals, cables and hardware.
This complete four camera system comes with an internet ready DVR with 160GB Hard Drive and a more popular mix of cameras. The weatherproof bullet cameras work well inside or outside. The IR LEDs in the bullet cameras allow vision in total darkness up to 15' away. The more stylish mini dome cameras look great indoors, and provide a 360 degree angle crime deterrent since the actual direction of the camera inside of the dome cannot be seen. The DVR features a rear panel ethernet jack that connects to your network/Internet access. View the DVR with a Web browser (Internet Explorer) from anywhere. USB rear panel connection provides PC or flash drive archiving of video.

Well, I knew going in the old sage of "you get what you pay for" so I set my expectations at low and wasn't surprised. It is what it is and that is an inexpensive camera system but it does the job you ask it to do. I set up one of the bullet cameras in my garage to test the IR capability. Inside, with the lights off, the IRs couldn't even illuminate the depth of the garage. Turn on the garage door opener light however and most of the garage was now visible.
Just make sure you have a night time light source near your camera and it will work satisfactorily - not great - but OK. The DVD recorder is cheaply constructed and the Male BNC connectors on the rear are poorly anchored in the case. Also, there is no remote control - Believe me, the average homeowner will want and need a remote unless you found just the "perfect" place, at eye level, to set or change any of the available inputs.
The mounting brackets for the bullet cameras are just plain junk. I immediately had to replace the thumb screw on one that would tighten down on the mounting ball and the mounting plates and screws must be made from some of the least expensive materials available.
My bottom line is that it's not up to my standards but for the price perhaps it's my fault for being impatient and wanting to gat a CCTV system up. It's a VERY BASIC SYSTEM but it does work but if I had it to do over again, I'd invest a bit more money and do it right.
