The Vigilante PPS-122 by Emperor is a 12" CCTV video observation system featuring a high resolution CRT monitor with 2 cameras included. Designed as a turnkey package for monitoring convenience stores, small offices, warehouse doors or even for residential use, the system is a complete system with monitor, cameras, and mounting accessories. Easy plug and play setup makes this an ideal, low cost investment. The cameras feature an integrated microphone, providing audio as well as video to the monitor location. The power for the cameras comes from the monitor, requiring no AC adapter at the camera location. Also included are wall/ceiling mounting brackets for the cameras, and 2 60 ft. (non-shielded) camera cables. Black and white cameras (2 included) are better suited for extreme low light situations, regardless of system cost. Typically, black and white cameras with infinity focus will have a longer range of view in low light conditions than infrared cameras, which usually distort images beyond 15 yards or more. The system has an audio/video out jack in the event that you want to use it with a DVR or Time Lapse VCR equipped with RCA A/V Inputs (connection cable not included - requires a 3.5mm plug sold separately for recording device connection).
